As from the 1st May 2017 you will no longer be able to order your prescriptions using this website. We are encouraging our patients to sign up for Online Access, this will enable you to order your medication, book certain pre-bookable appointment slots and cancel any appointments you may have already have made. You can register for this service by clicking on the link on the right hand side of this screen headed "Patient Online Services" or call into the surgery and complete the necessary paperwork. This Online Access will give you a list of the exact medication we hold in your records and you will only need to tick the boxes of the items required. Using this service will make the process of ordering and issuing your prescriptions easier and safer for both parties.

Changes to the out of hours service
As of October 20th 2015, if you need an urgent care contact point and are not able to contact the GP surgery you should contact NHS 111 and NOT the local Out of Hours service. You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.
Call 111 if:
- You need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency
- You think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service.
- You don't know who to call or you don't have a GP to call.
- You need health information or reassurance about what to do next.
For less urgent health needs, contact your GP or local pharmacist in the usual way.
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It's fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

PARKING & ACCESS
There are good parking facilities for patients. The practice has had to introduce clamping for non patient parking at a cost to the practice, due to non patient abuse of the facilities.
Disabled patients can access the practice via the wheel chair ramp at the main door of the surgery. There are toilets off the entrance hall with facilities for the disabled. The practice is currently reviewing the facilities to ensure we conform with the Disability Act which recently came into force.
